A green nikah dress in a satin-finish fabric, worked with gold embroidery across the yoke, along a short centre front line below the scoop neckline, around the waistband and at the cuffs. The upper sleeves stay plain apart from a small motif, and the skirt gathers full from the waist. Gold spires rise from a deep embroidered border at the floor-length hem, and a long green scarf with a gold embroidered edge drapes over the shoulder. Dress and scarf are custom tailored to your measurements.

Made to measure

Every piece starts with a consultation at the studio in Officer, where we talk through the design, the fabric and your date. We take your measurements and cut to them, then fit the piece once or twice before it is finished.

Typical timeline: Four to eight weeks, depending on the embroidery, mirror work and trims. Bridal gowns need three months.

Bring the shoes and undergarments you will wear with it, so the length and fit are set correctly.

Fabric and care

Made in the fabric you choose, for example a silk satin, a satin-finish polyester or a duchess satin. Embroidered satins are dry clean only, and the scarf is best stored folded in tissue to protect its border.
