A Kuchi dress with a deep red gathered skirt, a densely embroidered yoke and wide black sleeves banded in multicolour embroidery. The square neckline frames a yoke of round floral motifs in orange, blue and green, edged with gold and red braid, and the skirt gathers from a high waist to the floor. A broad band of floral embroidery circles the hem, finished with a row of round discs along the very edge. With the yoke and sleeve length set to the wearer, it is custom tailored to your measurements.

Made to measure

Every piece starts with a consultation at the studio in Officer, where we talk through the design, the fabric and your date. We take your measurements and cut to them, then fit the piece once or twice before it is finished.

Typical timeline: Four to eight weeks, depending on the embroidery, mirror work and trims. Bridal gowns need three months.

Bring the shoes and undergarments you will wear with it, so the length and fit are set correctly.

Fabric and care

Made in the fabric you choose, for example a soft cotton, a linen blend or a matte viscose, with embroidered panels. Heavily embroidered pieces with trims are dry clean only, with the trims checked and secured before cleaning.
