The right skirt length depends on your height, your shoes and the occasion, which is why we make skirts to measure rather than to a chart. HMN makes pencil, A-line, pleated, circle, maxi and wrap skirts in wool, crepe, satin, cotton and tulle, lined where it matters.
We draft the waistband to sit where you want it, shape the hip so the fabric falls cleanly, and hem the skirt with you standing in your shoes. Pleats are pressed and set properly so they hold their line through the day.
If you have skirts that no longer fit, we take them in, let them out, re-hem and replace zips. Clients come from Officer, Cranbourne, Berwick and across Melbourne's south east, and many build a working wardrobe with us one piece at a time.

Questions we are often asked
Can you make a skirt to match a jacket?
Yes. Bring the jacket and we will source a matching or complementary cloth and cut the skirt to suit.
Do you make lined skirts?
Yes. We line wool, crepe and sheer skirts as standard and recommend it for most tailored styles.
What is the turnaround on a skirt alteration?
Hems and waist adjustments are usually ready within a week. Bring the shoes you will wear with it.
Are skirts priced by style?
Each skirt is quoted after the consultation. Fabric, lining, pleating and length all affect the price.
