Most trousers are bought to fit the waist and then fail everywhere else. HMN cuts men's trousers to your measurements so the waist sits flat, the seat is comfortable, the leg falls straight and the hem breaks exactly where you want it over your shoes.
We make flat-front and pleated trousers, chinos, dress pants and separates in wool, cotton twill, linen and flannel, with side adjusters, belt loops or braces buttons as you prefer. Pocket style, cuff and taper are chosen with you.
We also alter trousers you own: waist in or out, seat and thigh adjustments, tapering, hemming and zip replacement. Questions we are often asked
Can you match trousers to a jacket I own?
Yes. Bring the jacket and we will source a cloth that works and cut the trousers to suit it.
How long do custom trousers take?
Three to four weeks including one fitting. Repeat pairs from your pattern are faster.
Can you taper trousers I already own?
Yes. Tapering, hemming and waist changes are usually ready within a week.
How are trousers priced?
Each pair is quoted after the consultation, based on the cut and cloth. There are no listed prices.
