Lavalava and puletasi made to measure

Custom lavalava, puletasi and island formal wear made to measure in Officer for church, weddings and celebrations across Melbourne's south east.

For church, weddings, white Sunday and family celebrations, a well-made lavalava or puletasi sets the tone. HMN makes lavalava, puletasi sets, ie faitaga and matching tops to your measurements in elei print, cotton, satin and lace, with the length, waist finish and sleeve style you prefer.

We take care with the fall of the fabric and the matching of prints across seams, and we finish waistbands and hems so they hold up to wear and washing. Family sets in the same print, with matching pieces for children, are a regular request and we plan them together so everything arrives at once.

Clients come from Officer, Cranbourne, Dandenong, Pakenham and across Melbourne's south east, and we schedule around church and event dates. Tell us the occasion, the fabric you have or want, and the number of pieces, and we will quote the set.

FAQ

Questions we are often asked

Can you make matching family sets?

Yes. Send the number of adults and children and the print, and we will quote and schedule the whole set together.

Do I need to bring my own fabric?

Many clients bring elei or printed fabric from family. We can also help you source fabric in Melbourne.

How long does a puletasi set take?

Two to three weeks for a single set. Family orders need more time, so send dates early.

Do you do alterations on existing lavalava?

Yes. Waist adjustments, re-hemming and repairs are quick jobs in the studio.
