A dress that fits properly changes how you carry yourself. HMN makes dresses to your measurements for engagements, formals, graduations, family celebrations and everyday elegance, in the fabric and length you choose. You bring the idea, we bring the pattern, the cut and the finishing.
We work in silk, crepe, satin, velvet, cotton and lace, and we will tell you plainly which fabric suits the shape you want. Each dress is cut from a pattern drafted for your body, then adjusted at a fitting before the final finishing, so the waist sits where it should and the hem falls evenly.
If you have a dress you love that no longer fits, we can reshape it. Our clients come from Officer, Pakenham, Berwick, Cranbourne, Narre Warren and Dandenong, and many first arrive with one special occasion in mind and return every season. Questions we are often asked
How long does a custom dress take?
Most dresses take three to five weeks from the first measurement, including one fitting. Simpler styles can be faster.
Can I bring my own fabric?
Yes. Bring it to the consultation and we will confirm it suits the design and tell you how much is needed.
Do you make modest or long-sleeve styles?
Yes. Modest styles, full-length sleeves, high necklines and lined fabrics are all part of our regular work.
How are prices worked out?
Every dress is quoted individually after the consultation, based on the design, fabric and finishing. There are no listed prices.
