A black evening gown with a square neckline and a bodice filled with gold embroidery in a lattice and floral pattern, finished by a wide gold band at the waist. Long fitted sleeves carry matching embroidered panels at the lower arm, and below the band the skirt falls in a soft A-line to the floor. To keep the embroidered bodice smooth and level, the gown is custom tailored to your measurements.

Made to measure

Every piece starts with a consultation at the studio in Officer, where we talk through the design, the fabric and your date. We take your measurements and cut to them, then fit the piece once or twice before it is finished.

Typical timeline: Four to eight weeks, depending on the embroidery, mirror work and trims. Bridal gowns need three months.

Bring the shoes and undergarments you will wear with it, so the length and fit are set correctly.

Fabric and care

Made in the fabric you choose, for example a crepe, a cotton blend or a matte polyester. Embroidered gowns are dry clean only, which keeps the gold work bright and the black from fading.
