A navy Pashtun frock with a yoke set in a grid of round mirrors, each framed in gold, rust and blue embroidery, below a round neckline with a small centre notch. Wide flared sleeves carry broad embroidered bands at the lower arm, and the skirt gathers from a high waist to around the knee with a deep embroidered border at the hem. The matching navy shalwar is embroidered at the ankles to tie the set together, and both pieces are custom tailored to your measurements.
Every piece is made from scratch, so the details are yours to choose. Ask for any of these when you request a quote.
Every piece starts with a consultation at the studio in Officer, where we talk through the design, the fabric and your date. We take your measurements and cut to them, then fit the piece once or twice before it is finished.
Typical timeline: Four to eight weeks, depending on the embroidery, mirror work and trims. Bridal gowns need three months.
Bring the shoes and undergarments you will wear with it, so the length and fit are set correctly.
Made in the fabric you choose, for example a cotton blend, a crepe or a matte polyester. Mirror-set and embroidered pieces are dry clean only, pressed on the reverse.
