A knee-length emerald dress in a satin-finish fabric, cut close to the body as a simple sheath. The straight neckline folds softly at the top and is held by narrow straps strung with small beads, the only ornament on the piece. Darts at the bust and seams at the waist give a clean, close fit. It is custom tailored to your measurements.

Every piece starts with a consultation at the studio in Officer, where we talk through the design, the fabric and your date. We take your measurements and cut to them, then fit the piece once or twice before it is finished.

Typical timeline: Most dresses take three to five weeks from the first measurement, including one fitting.

Bring the shoes and undergarments you will wear with it, so the length and fit are set correctly.

Fabric and care

Made in the fabric you choose, for example a duchess satin, a silk satin or a stretch satin. Satins with beaded straps should be dry cleaned.
