Ankara print gown with puff sleeves

Ankara print in rust, teal, cream and black meets ivory lace in this fitted gown. The sweetheart neckline sits within a square strap frame, lace covers the puff shoulders and the sheer three-quarter sleeves finish with a scalloped lace cuff, and a wide lace panel runs down the centre of the skirt. The waist is seamed and the A-line skirt is shown at mid-calf on the form and longer worn, with the length set to you. With the print placement planned around the cut, every gown is custom tailored to your measurements.

Made to measure

Every piece starts with a consultation at the studio in Officer, where we talk through the design, the fabric and your date. We take your measurements and cut to them, then fit the piece once or twice before it is finished.

Typical timeline: Most dresses take three to five weeks from the first measurement, including one fitting.

Bring the shoes and undergarments you will wear with it, so the length and fit are set correctly.

Fabric and care

Made in the fabric you choose, for example a wax-print cotton, a cotton sateen or a printed polyester, with a corded lace overlay. Lace-trimmed pieces are best dry cleaned, or the cotton gently hand washed in cool water once the lace has been tested.
