A long red dress with a soft cowl at the neckline and draping that gathers across the bodice to one hip. The gathers are caught by a round gold brooch with a hammered finish, and the drape falls from there down the front of a slim, floor-length skirt. Long sleeves end in neat cuffs. So the drape sits exactly where it should, it is custom tailored to your measurements.

Made to measure

Every piece starts with a consultation at the studio in Officer, where we talk through the design, the fabric and your date. We take your measurements and cut to them, then fit the piece once or twice before it is finished.

Typical timeline: Most dresses take three to five weeks from the first measurement, including one fitting.

Bring the shoes and undergarments you will wear with it, so the length and fit are set correctly.

Fabric and care

Made in the fabric you choose, for example a crepe, a matte jersey or a georgette with a lining. Draped crepes should be dry cleaned, and removing the brooch before cleaning protects both the fabric and the hardware.
