A bralette-style top in a dark brocade woven with antique gold flowers and trailing leaves across the front. The V-neckline dips to a point at the centre, fine spaghetti straps keep the look light, and seams shape the cups for a close fit. It finishes just below the bust, which makes it a neat partner for a high-waisted skirt, and the band is cut to sit securely. It is custom tailored to your measurements.

Every piece starts with a consultation at the studio in Officer, where we talk through the design, the fabric and your date. We take your measurements and cut to them, then fit the piece once or twice before it is finished.

Typical timeline: One to two weeks for a standard blouse, longer for heavily embellished designs.

Bring the shoes and undergarments you will wear with it, so the length and fit are set correctly.

Fabric and care

Made in the fabric you choose, for example a silk brocade or a jacquard with metallic thread. Brocades are dry clean only, and storing the top folded rather than hung by the straps protects its shape.
