A green and gold brocade top with elephants and flowers set inside round medallions across the front, and bands of woven flowers below. The straight neckline and wide brocade straps give it a bustier shape, and the panels are cut so the medallions line up across the bust. It finishes at a cropped length for a firm, close fit. It is custom tailored to your measurements.

Every piece starts with a consultation at the studio in Officer, where we talk through the design, the fabric and your date. We take your measurements and cut to them, then fit the piece once or twice before it is finished.

Typical timeline: One to two weeks for a standard blouse, longer for heavily embellished designs.

Bring the shoes and undergarments you will wear with it, so the length and fit are set correctly.

Fabric and care

Made in the fabric you choose, for example a silk brocade or a jacquard with metallic thread. Brocades are dry clean only, which keeps the weave and colours intact.
