A sleeveless saree blouse in an antique gold brocade woven with large paisley and scroll motifs. The round neckline is cut wide and the armholes sit high, giving a clean, structured front. The bodice is cropped to sit at the midriff and is shaped with darts so the firm weave follows the body. It is custom tailored to your measurements.

Every piece starts with a consultation at the studio in Officer, where we talk through the design, the fabric and your date. We take your measurements and cut to them, then fit the piece once or twice before it is finished.

Typical timeline: One to two weeks for a standard blouse, longer for heavily embellished designs.

Bring the shoes and undergarments you will wear with it, so the length and fit are set correctly.

Fabric and care

Made in the fabric you choose, for example a silk brocade or metallic-thread jacquard. Brocades should be dry cleaned to protect the weave.
