A floor-length ivory column gown in a satin-finish fabric, with thin straps, a straight neckline and a plain fitted bodice. The line follows the body closely through the waist and hips and releases into a soft sweep at the hem. There is no lace or beading, so the fit and the sheen carry the gown. So the column sits close without pulling, it is custom tailored to your measurements.

Made to measure
Every piece starts with a consultation at the studio in Officer, where we talk through the design, the fabric and your date. We take your measurements and cut to them, then fit the piece once or twice before it is finished.
Typical timeline: Allow four to six months for a made-to-measure gown, so there is time for a toile, two fittings and hand finishing.
Bring the shoes and undergarments you will wear with it, so the length and fit are set correctly.

Fabric and care
Made in the fabric you choose, for example a silk satin, a crepe-back satin or a duchess satin. Plain satins dry clean, and the gown is best stored hanging in a breathable bag away from direct sunlight.
