A black underbust corset in a brocade finish fabric, running from just under the bust to the hip and dipping to a curved point at the front hem. Vertical boning channels shape the waist, with a front busk of five metal clasps and bound edges top and bottom. It wears over a shirt or dress as much as under one. It is custom tailored to your measurements.

Every piece starts with a consultation at the studio in Officer, where we talk through the design, the fabric and your date. We take your measurements and cut to them, then fit the piece once or twice before it is finished.

Typical timeline: Four to six weeks, depending on the fabric and detailing.

Bring the shoes and undergarments you will wear with it, so the length and fit are set correctly.

Fabric and care

Made in the fabric you choose, for example a brocade, a coutil with a brocade overlay or a cotton sateen, over a boned base. Brocade dry clean or spot clean only; store flat or rolled, never folded across the bones.
