Trouser and jean hemming, shown on dark blue denim with the new length turned up and pinned and a chalk line marking the hem on the opposite leg. We measure the length at the fitting with the shoes you will wear, so the break falls where it should. Jeans keep their original hem finish where possible, and trousers are finished plain or with a turn-up to match. The new length is custom tailored to your measurements.

How it works
Bring the piece to the studio in Officer. We look at it with you, pin and chalk the change at a fitting, and quote before we start.
Typical timeline: Most hems and simple adjustments are ready within a week. Bridal and suit work is scheduled around your date.
Bring the shoes and undergarments you will wear with it, so the length and fit are set correctly.

Fabric and care
We hem denim, cotton, wool suiting and blends. Wash and dry the garment before the fitting if it is new, so the length allows for any shrinkage.
